Now that the old epoxy as been sanded off blade it as exposed the old glassfibre matting that was glassed over the edge of the udder when it was build, which as now dis connected itself from the two halves of the rudder blade,
Inspecting the area it is can see why, the area was not sanded down to give the matting a key to grip on to when glass fibreing over the joint to seal the joint
Thenewkeel shoe fitting bearing now fitted in the heel fitting and ready to go back on the boat.
