Glassing in the bulkhead in the Morgan Giles 30

The bulkhead now masked up with spraying paper to keep the bulkhead clear of any resin coming off the fibreglass as it is being applied to the bulkhead

The paper doing its job and now got a working table bench in the boat to help do some of the work in the cabin over the next few months

Having found the old second section of floor, have been able to use it to make it into a working floor to work off while we refit the interior

The small motor launch is back for winter storage and to have the engine winterized.

The small motor launch that we had at the yard in the spring is now back for the winter for storage and to have its engine winterized before being covered over with a large winter cover before it is recommissioned in the spring for a new season.

just got to get the cover off the aft end of the boat so that I can gain access to the engine and am able to winterize the engine

The speedboat repairs can now at a stage that needs to be painted

The bottom is now been filled and faired where necessary and now needs the paint system to get the bottom done before it can be turned over the deck and cockpit and engine work can be done.

Waiting for the paint to arrive so that I can get on with painting the bottom and then turn the boat over to get the work doneon the deck and cockpit and engine compartment

The Cornish Crabber now undercover for the winter so that the refit can get underway whatever the weather

The Cornish Crabber is now in its home watertight home for the winter so it can now dry out and the work can get underway whatever the weather is doing outside.

The first thing to do now is set up work benches and power in the shed to so that the work can be done in and around the boat

Starting to glass in the second starboard bulkhead in the Morgan Giles 30

Starting to glass in the second bulkhead in the interior of the Morgan Giles 30. This bulkhead is going in where the old bulkhead came out from. However, the port bulkhead is going in a completely different position as the toilet compartment is going to be larger than before.

The new port bulkhead is going to be on the aft side of the mast post

The first layers of Fibreglass going on the aft side of the bulkhead before glassing up the forward side after the aft side as cured so that the bulkhead does not move while glassing up the forward side.

Because of the time of year having to keep the temperature higher enough to make the resin go off  before the end of the working day.
