Now they are ready to fit the various deck fittings from cleats to a new windlass and several other deck fittings to organizing the sail control lines. the hull has been sanded back again to get the hull ready for the next coats of topside gloss paint. The superstructure as been masked off to get them ready to sand them back ready to paint the superstructure with a fresh coat of cream gloss paint.

On the Hardy 25 refit the was the galley refit with a new galley front and top which are now installed after the last of the cabin bulkheads were refitted and the navigation instruments transducers fitted in the hull and all the new cabling run from the transducers to the steering consul. Also, a lot of the wiring as been rewired to the dashboard and so that the headlinings can be refitted and all the new roof lights can be fitted. The next jobs are to get the covers off the boat and get all the windows refitted on the boat and then get the deck works done.
J-Star Marine Services Builders of fine craft since 1981http://www.blogger.com/profile/12878719383364766699noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8778432789852408756.post-47878285445923121202024-02-16T12:05:00.002+00:002024-02-16T12:05:29.223+00:00One major job ticked off, the first coat of non slip deck paint on the Morgan Giles 30 refit

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;
