The dinghies in the workshop are coming along at different stages of the being done of them

The Enterprise dinghy is just waiting for its final few coats of Varnish before its turned over to have the Hull sanded down and given a fresh coat of White marine glass paint


The decks are all smooth and just need a good drying day to get the varnish applied.


The Mai Star Dinghy as now had its final coats of White Marine gloss paint and just needs turning over to have the varnishing done on the top plank and on the seats and the inside gets it fresh coats of white marine gloss and then it will be ready for getting an outing.


She looking good just got to get some varnish on the top plank and on the seats and thwarts.


The GRP dinghy is now getting ready to be flowcoated on the inside and the centre thwart and a set of new gunwales.

Painting and varnishing Monday

Start  of a new week after a short break to recharge the mind and body, so its back to the painting and varnishing of the dinghies in the workshop. 


The clinker dinghy getting its last coat of primer before it gets its two coats of white marine gloss paint. Then it will get the top plank re-varnish before its turned over and get the inside sorted out and then get used.


The Enterprise dinghy getting the patches their thinned varnish coats to build up the layers back to the rest of the varnish.


Once the build up coats are done then the whole of the deck will be varnished and then the Enterprise will be turned over and the hull will be sanded back and spot primed and then a couple of coats of white marine gloss paint before it is put up for sale.


There is a few more coats of varnish to go yet before the finishing coats of varnish are applied.
