Oven and locker front mock up for the Hardy 25 Galley

The first mock up of the oven position in the new redesigned galley front. Just got to put in place in the Boat to see how it works in the boat. and see if there are any mods that it to be done before making the finished galley front.

Setting up the base panel for the oven to sit on this will give us the area we have round the oven once this galley front is temporarily fixed in place.

A mock up of the cupboard doors and then make the cutlery drawer beside the oven and above the cupboard doors and between the sink that will be fitted in the space the cupboard doors.

Starting to dry fit the deck fittings starting on the aft deck and moving forward from there

It has now come to the stage in the refit to start fitting the deck fittings back on the deck, so that when the deck gets its final coat of deck paint the fittings can be finally bolted down once and for all.

The start of fitting the strong points for the safety harnesses two at the aft end of the cockpit and two on the aft deck a seen in the previous photo

Then two more at the front of the cockpit which you can fix to while still in the cabin before coming out into he cockpit on watch.

One of the winches which is getting overhauled and not before time, not a spot of grease in sight.

Just about to give it a cleaning down in the degreasing bath to get rid of any old dried up grease that is still in place before rebuilding the winch with fresh grease and bolting it down in position at the aft end of the cockpit.
