Stating the long process of changing the colour from blue to yellow

The first job is to sand down the hull of all the old single pack paint until we can see the condition of the hull.

In the case of this boat it is a bit rough which means we will have to go over the hull a couple of times with different grades of sandpaper discs until we can get a fair surface to paint on the next coat of paint which will be a covering barrier primer.

The hull is reasonable fair apart from a few patches which will need a bit of fairing up to be fair once more.

Will have to move a few boats around the yard to be able to get down the port side.

Once the hull you can see, then the boat will be lifted off the trailer to be able to sand down the lower part of the hull, then barrier primer that part before lowering it down back on the trailer.
