A long time friend of the business wish to let us know how grateful they were that when were helping them get their yacht ready for their sailing Challenge

It has been a difficult year for all of us at the Three Port Challenge headquarters without not been able to get on with the refit of our Challenge yacht because of Covid restrictions. Our boat builder J-Star Marine Services as been able to do some work on our yacht between other jobs they have had come into their yard. So some work has been done. Mainly the old deck and the top planks on both sides have been removed as they were found to be rotten in places. Also a number of broken ribs have been removed and also a number of frames that were broken and at the deck level found to be rotten or in a otherwise poor condition which needed them removed at the same time.

The next jobs to be undertaken when it is possible for the boat builder to get back to his yard will be to continue with the work with the ribs and also the frames. Once he has been able to do this work. He can be able to get on with rest of the hull repairs and get the hull seaworthy. A major milestone then can be ticked off.
