A complete change from working on boat, now doing a spot of classic car restoration.

The old ash wood  a bit worse for wear after 60 + years

Making new parts to fit using the old parts as patterns 

Still a place for using hand tools to do the finer parts of shaping the wood to fit the shape of the car.

The last of the mortise and tenon joints for the fore and aft hatches on the lifeboat project

The last of the mortise and tenon joints for the fore and aft opening hatches on the lifeboat project.

Dry fitting the joints, then glue and clamp them together and the final bit of planing and sanding before painting them and fitting the hinges and catches 

Then go down to the lifeboat and fit the hatches to finish off the project.
