Steady progress on the Hardy 25 refit

Some of the repairs have been to fill in old holes in some units that are no longer needed such as the hole on the shower tray that were there because the boat originally had a sea toilet fitted which is no longer needed by the new owner.

This the underside of the unit with the hole filled in with gelcoat and matting and resin and now just needs sanding back and flow coating to seal the surface of the new fibreglass and seal the rest of the underside of the shower tray.

The cockpit step boards now all sanded back in the centre  now ready to have their first coats of non slip paint

The first coats of paint on the cockpit step boards, just a couple more coats to build up the layers and add more non slip protection under foot.

The trims now getting their final thinned coats of varnish and now ready to have their first coats before being fitted back on the boat when the bulkheads and doors go back on the boat.

Put to one side while we get on with other jobs such as headlinings panels that need recovering.
