Fitting the bulkhead to the shape of the deck head. Then mask off an area to sand back the top of the bulkhead and glass it to the deck head to make it part of the rest of the boat and the same will be done at the bottom.
The bulkhead is also screwed to the fore and aft floor bearer for good measure
All the wood as been varnished to keep it from getting stained and otherwise dirty and marked while the rest of the refit takes place.
