Making the main fore hatch plinth and mainsheet horse

Having got the teak from the local timber merchants  it was cut to lengths to be worked on to produce the Mainsheet horse upstand and the pieces fro the main forehatch plinth

Setting out the pieces on the pattern for the main sheet upstand and the jig for the fore hatch plinth

The stating to cut the mitred half lap joints for the corners of the fore hatch plinth

Slow progress, however it is coming together

Drilling out the holes for the main sheet fixings to go through so there is a good backing support for the main sheet track when it is under loading while it is in use.

Showing the joints being used to connect the corners of the fore hatch plinth
