Four and a half years of work with the owner and the staff of J-Star Marine Services and the finishing line is in sight for this major restoration of a Morgan Giles 30.

This is a major restoration of a once tried Morgan Giles 30 which the owner of the yacht had the vision to change the yacht from a family cruising/ racing yacht into a expedition yacht for himself and partner and friends

The interior is very custom made by the owner to designs that with the advice of a surveyor and the experienced staff of J-Star Marine Services has made this yacht into the yacht which the owner will sail in the Northern altitudes and around Scotland.

The engine bay ready to have the new Beta 20 installed into in the coming weeks

The interior upper area is now ready to get insulted and then boarded out to finish off the interior

A well designed and compact navigation space

A well designed and compact head compartment

The galley area with plenty of storage lockers which on a compact yacht is also necessary.

At the heart of any  expedition yacht the cooker to keep the crew and skipper happy with food and hot drinks on the long passages.
