A busy few days in the Workshop this week in the run up to Easter Weekend

We started the week with making a plinth for the new windlass and to make a angled base for the compass.

Just making sur the position for the hole for the chain to go through the deck and the cut out for the chain on the plinth that is being made for the windlass on

Also we made a teak pad for the halyard winch to go on so that the leads from the halyard clutches is at the correct height.

Making up spacers for the toilet and galley outlet pipes which in both cases are pumps  out with small pumps and the skin fittings are above the sinks.

We have now got the new engine for the Morgan Giles 30 and will over the next few weeks fit this into the engine bay in the cabin of the Morgan Giles 30

A well designed and compact unit and will fit well into the engine bay below the navigation steps

On a different note we aregetting stated on a dinghy which has been sitting around the yard for a while which the owner now wishes to finish off and get afloat this spring.
