The thwarts are now removed to be edged and the bare wood on the inside of the dinghy is getting a coat of yacht primer.
The top mast step now in position and the bottom is getting made and soon be fitted in the bow of the dinghy
All the edges and the bottom face of the inner keel now clear of old paint and sealant and ready for the next stage of the keel repair
Drilling out the old screw holes to fit hardwood plugs in the oversized holes
The plugs already cut just need gluing in position
The pugs all glued in position just have to wait for the glue to cure and on to the next stage, collecting the new timber for the outer keel.
