The cockpit locker/ seats now made and trimmed and the start of the chain plates being dry fitted

The cockpit lockers / seats now finished with all the edges trimmed and covered with teak edging tape and ready to varnish


The first of the lockers/ seats varnished with its first coat of thinned varnish, just five more to go 


The fridge locker all varnished with its first coat of thinned varnish,just has to have the top and bottom vent holes to cut so when the fridge is working there is a flow of air over the cooling plates on the back of the fridge unit 


The port side locker being varnished before cutting out the doorway


The tops being varnished before fitting them down when the lockers are fitted in the boat cockpit


Starting to fit the new chainplates into the new position on the hull of the boat and through the deck of the boat.

The Hardy 25 cockpit seats being glued together and then edged trimmed

The fridge locker /helmsman seat being glued together and then it will be edged trimmed and then the fridge will be fitted once they are installed in the cockpit and wired up to the 12 volt and shore power on the hardy 25


The co-pilot seat being glued together as well and then the door will be cut in it and then a shelf will be fitted in it 


The Morgan Giles 30 getting its first coat of Gelshield Treatment

Starting to  roller and brush on the first coat of Green Gelshield


The starboard side coated up apart from the areas which need re-glassing the old skin fittings which are going to be drilled in different place when the interior is re-designed 


The port side painted half way 


The last part to be painted 


The bottom now coated up and now as to cured and then the epoxy filler can be applied and the its then time to sand the filler flat and give the bottom a smooth finish once again.

Starting to remove all the deck fittings on the latest Finesse 24 in for a new deck

First job to get the Rubbing strakes off the top plank 


Final got to the end of the rubbing strakes 


The stanchion bases and their wedges and the Genoa tracks 


The pushpit and pulpit and the Mainsheet horse 


Now it is the turn of the U-Bolts in the deck 



The quadrants off and then we will be ready to get the deck off

Another Finesse 24 in for a new deck and top plank repairs and another old Westerly 25 in for a few general repairs

The next Finesse 24 in for a new deck just being off loaded to start on the deck removal


This deck as not been off since it was build as seen by the old sealant left on the rubbing strakes and the top of the hull planking 


First area of rot, now after doing a couple of Finesses's it appears to be an area which is to rot


The extent of the rot appears to be the deck the plank and the back face of the gunwale 



An old Westerly 25 in for a few general repairs before going back on the water for the season
