The yacht's cabin sides are all masked up and ready to be varnished

The owner after he had finished sanding the whole of the cabin sides and the cockpit coamings cleaned the decks down and the masked up the areas which are going to be epoxied when the all the decks sheathed.

A long job, but that is necessary to keep the surface for the epoxy to adhere to clear of any varnish

Just one final wipe down with a tack rag to get rid of any bits of dust and then on with the thinned coats of varnish which be about four coats of varnish

Then a good sanding down to flatten  back the surface before getting on with the less thinned down coats of varnish until you have a good build up of coats of varnish
