The effects of having the wrong anode on an saildrive leg and the effect it as on the propeller

Once the propeller was removed from the saildrive leg and put on the workbench it was time to clean off the dirt and corrision from the blades of the propeller.

after removing the paint and corrision the blades were found to be pitted badly in places on both faces and edges of each of the blades

some blades were worse than others

however, these blades can and will be repaired and the blades of the propeller will be balanced and the propeller will be ready to use for many years to come as long as the correct type of anode is use for the water the boat is sailed in.
